Fitness has always been an evolving category. People started out walking and hunting game thousands of years ago and were in pretty good shape. Now our lives have changed dramatically. We sit for long periods of time working in front of screens or watching television. Our lives have become more sedentary than ever before. This has caused a huge rise in obesity and poor health due to lack of physical exercise.
The good news is with our evolving lives technology has made getting that physical exercise easier and more fun. Now you can work out in a gym with others, at a park or in the comfort of your own home. Home workout solutions have exploded the last few months due to people spending alot more time indoors.
Which brings me to our new unsung hero: the fitness app. There are probably thousands of fitness apps out there but not all are created equal. Many are full of ads, have bad usability, or just don't have the best content.
We wanted to tell you about our favorite fitness app: FitOn. It has become very popular in the US and we wanted to give it a try. I spent two weeks using this app. My lower back pain has gone away and my posture has improved greatly. FitOn has Fitness, Wellness and Nutrition sections with tons of free workouts, recipes and information. I won't say this is a miracle solution - you still need to work! But if you want to get started with home workouts (what is stopping you?) this is a great place to start. Plus it's free except for some bonus options for those who want to upgrade.

As for me, I have subscribed to FitOn pro and use it now for short daily home workouts in the morning and really enjoy the recipes from the Nutrition section.
